Gillespie Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Gillespie County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).

Our Mission

The Gillespie Central Appraisal District is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. The district is responsible for appraising property for ad valorem (property tax) purposes for each taxing unit. Gillespie CAD boundaries include all of Gillespie County and portions of Kimble, Kerr, Mason, Blanco, and Kendall Counties.
